My educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, an M.S. in Home Economics, and continued education in the area of Early Childhood Education. I have over twenty five years of experience caring for children. I have cared for children from infancy to age sixteen in a variety of settings, including my own two-star family child care home, a licensed child care center, churches, Camp Fire Boys and Girls, and Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, and substitute teaching for Moore Public Schools. I have been the Director of Children’s Ministry at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Norman, OK.

I have been an educator with the Center for Early Childcare Professional Development, College of Continuing Education of the University of Oklahoma and was an adjunct instructor at Moore Norman Technology Center. In addition, I have been a CDA Advisor who observes candidates who are in the process of obtaining their national credential for child care.
